I’m Peter Zhao, a Long Island–based visual artist working across photography and fine art figure modeling, with over 20 years of experience in visual practice.

My work is grounded in an understanding of light, form, anatomy, and gesture. Whether I’m behind the camera or modeling for artists and photographers, I approach each session with intention, professionalism, and respect for the creative process.

In photography, I focus on low-light, candid, and portrait work that captures real emotion rather than forced moments. As a figure model, I work with art schools, studios, and independent artists, offering strong pose control, endurance, and an informed awareness of how artists see and build form.

Both practices inform each other. I value collaboration, clarity, and showing up prepared.
